Elizabeth (Tanoury) MacKool

Elizabeth (Tanoury) MacKool, born May 4, 1925, peacefully passed away on January 21,2022.

Elizabeth (Liz) was the beloved wife of the late George, Mother of the late Kenneth (Tish), Robert (Debbie), George (Kennetha) and Kathy (Michael Taylor).

She was the loving Grandmother of Brian, Kevin, Kate, Mike, Lisa, Joe, Scott, Megan, Becky, Stacey, George, and Christen. She was the doting Great Grandmother of 16.

Elizabeth will be reunited with her dear husband George, her son Kenneth, her grandson Scott and her great grandson Austin.

Liz was a caring and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her loving family. She passed on her sense of appreciation and importance of family to her children and their future generations. She was immensely proud of her family and she leaves behind nothing but love and fond memories.

Saying she had a flair for the dramatic is an understatement. At the same time, her friends called her Saint Liz because of her graceful tolerance of her husband’s antics. She lived simply, honestly and kindly and will be remembered for her love of life, her ease of presence, her big loving heart, and her total acceptance of others. We will miss her quick wit and contagious laughter.  

For everyone’s safety we will not have a funeral at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
