Henry Peters Obituary

Henry Thomas Peters, known as Tom to his family, passed away on December 14, 2021 in Macomb County, Michigan. He was born on October 20, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Henry & Josephine Peters.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years Karen Laneal Willingham Peters, his parents Henry & Josephine Peters, and brother Paul A. Peters.

He is survived by his sisters Barbara Peters Elam & Rose Peters and his brother Walter B. Peters, nieces Nicole Elam & Laura Elam Ewing(spouse Robert), nephews Craig Elam(spouse Pearl) & Clayton Elam, nephew-in-law Jody Willingham, niece-in-law Donna Clark and many grandnephews. He is also survived by his cherished cat, Callie.

Tom was known for his devotion to his wife, Karen & his volunteering with Shriner’s, The Gold Cup Races and the Vigilante Motorcycle Club. He served in the US Navy and was a member of AMVETS Post 121.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
